Where is gaming in terms of bitcoin/lightning adoption? I see my kids playing these networked games and I'm shocked at how the market within these games has developed. This to me presents an incredible opportunity to onboard millions of people into the bitcoin/lightning ecosystem.

Can you imagine accumulating SATs for your gameplay and watching that value increase over time? It would benefit both game developers and players. Sign into your favorite game or console with your lightning credentials and spend and earn SATs.

I'm not much of a gamer nor a developer but if I were in that world, I would certainly be looking into how to incorporate bitcoin.

There's a Minecraft game to earnsats

Man, when that catches on it's going to be big. I've heard of the Minecraft/btc integration, but not the others. Thanks for the info. Gotta get my kids earning SATs. "Boys: sorry but no more Fortnite until they switch from v-bucks to BTC" 😂💊

My mom keep playing games like solitaire etc , and I can only think of her missing earning sats.

But I think zebedde is the closest to a breakthrough on that aspect

Yo

Have you checked out our Sats-Man game?

Eat those shitcoins! Hilarious

The more games that don’t rely on centralized services the better. For example, if I want to play a Lightning-monetized game like SaruTobi, I literally can’t, because it runs off Zebedee, which won’t do business with users in my location.

It makes me laugh now how we're treated like retarded, helpless children. Can you get around it with a VPN?

LOL, yeah…it’s just annoying to have to remember to do that every time so I didn’t bother.

Feel free to send a test zap to:

maybedaniel@zbd.gg

Actually please don’t send me anything to that address. WTF even is this wallet? Can you even send from it without verifying your identity?

Yes pretty sure it’s limited to 100k Sats without KYC

I just get bad we’re-selling-your-data vibes from this app.

It's very refreshing to find companies who just clearly state they're not collecting data, but not nearly enough companies do that.

If the privacy policy is longer than a few short paragraphs, I either move on or provide the least amount of data as possible, if it's a service I absolutely need.

This type of monetization will die eventually. The more of us who opt out, the sooner that will happen.

ZBD is #[5]. I’ve seen him discuss some of the regulatory pains they have to deal with, probably more to do with that than selling your data.

Yeah for sure don’t tell him I signed up with a VPN, I’ll probably get banned for life. 🤣

Zebedee does sat gaming.

I've been wondering the exact same thing. Seems it would be so easy for these game devs to integrate and would immediately introduce bitcoin to the generation that ultimately will bring Bitcoin to the masses. It would be bitcoin's porn / vhs moment.
