What just like turns you off from seeing it all together?

For me it's Avatar🤷🏽

But right now I decided to watch all of the Grudge movies. Like all of em all of em. And yes the Japanese ones are way better than the American ones, and there's some cool moments and angles and what not... But dude all of these are mediocre at best why does everyone love these so much?
