Man if only I could afford the ammo for the necessary practicing and competitions. This is seriously a bucket list dream of mine. I would love to stop target practicing in my woods and get serious about this sport on a professional level.

Reloading can help keep the cost down a little in the long run, but the upfront cost can be high. It is a ton of fun. You should definitely get into it as resources allow.
