As soon as Bitcoin gets it's privacy problems straightened out WITHOUT compromising self-custody, permissionlessness, p2p, etc core value props then you will be justified in calling Monero an unecessary shitcoin

Until then Monero remains legitimate and closest in spirit to what cypherpunks envisioned as private and anonymous digital cash
