This is not an argument in favor of using X over Nostr. This is an acknowledgement of the reality that we face attracting users/creators/artists to come here and stay here. I believe Nostr is better by leaps and bounds. I also recognize that paying the bills and saving for the future is something everyone has to do.

I am not him so I don’t know how X calculates it. πŸ˜… But it’s revenue sharing from the platform, no doubt from ads. Agree or disagree with the source, it’s not an insignificant amount. This is what nostr is competing with.

agree on that fiat-like manner to earn money is not an insignificant point, IMHO.

as the last born, nostr is competing with anything. even my fruit vendor at the market has more follower than all the italians here on nostr.

it's a matter of choice. one day or the other, BTCTherapist have to decide in which side he likes to lie at
