I read this book once, where a bunch of aliens come to this planet to mine gold, apparently they need it to replenish their ozone layer or something

Anyway the aliens start mining and realise quickly they need help to speed up the operation

So they notice all our ancestors, basically monkey men, are way too stupid to do anything technical

So they splice a bit of their dna and mix with ours and create what we are today

Anyway they get the gold, fuck off back to outer space and leave us lot here wondering what the fuck just happened 😆

So as time went by the aliens were seen as gods and worshipped
