Post fundraisers are a scam.

If they're public, they can be gamed (fake fundraiser, self-zap, etc),

If they're private, they're always been possible w/o zaps.

Why would you self zap your own fundraiser? You would just get less money.

2nd order effects.

- "Charity XYZ collected 1 mil sats in the first 24h"

- Hype, likes, followers

- Next fundraiser has a bigger userbase to fundraise from -- based on lies and deception

- Any good street musician "seeds" his tip jar with some coins, ideally also w banknotes, to make it appear like others already donated quite a bit

- Same with jukebox bars

- "Biggest donation to fundraiser ABC was from Joe Generous"

- free hype, likes, followers for Joe Generous

- Fundraiser ABC and Joe Generous can be good friends, no sats have to be spent

- Win/win for both of them

etc etc

If its really about collecting sats, not announcing the amounts and donors bypasses all this.
