From the time you decide that you, your wife, your nearly 3 year old boy, and your 3 week old baby are going to get in the car to go pick up coffee and breakfast, to the time you are actually IN the car ready to go… is roughly 1.5 hours. Prepare accordingly.
Now triple the kids and go on a road trip. Double your time driving for bathroom breaks, food, stretching :).
