Question for my American friends. When you guys go to emergency (in your hospitals) do you have to wait hours to see any body? Sure Canada has free health care so we don’t have to pay but every hospital makes you wait hours sometimes even days before you can see a doctor in emergency. Is it like this in America?

It is often a long wait, hours, unless serious emergency.. Also depends on the hospital and time.

Wow thanks and you guys have to pay for it. That sucks.

Yeah, I feel like the basic care stuff in places like Canada and England are really good, but complex or serious situations are bad, opposite in the US..

Yes, that’s why the population is complacent.

Yeah our free health care system is kinda a waste of taxes to be honest but I just think about it like at-least our taxes go to free healthcare instead of crazy military budgets like the USA. You guys spend hundreds of billions yearly getting involved in foreign issues.

Our military budget is stupid.. so many better things to spend the money on, or better get to not take it on the first place..

Then we gift it to another Country to keep a strong black market for select Arms dealers. Depending on your needs it’s available

Another thing in America, there are many small Emergency Rooms that can handle 80% of the issues that would come up. Those places almost never have a wait, maybe 30 mins at the most. If it’s serious, they arrange an ambulance and get you to a full hospital.

I’ve been to emergency rooms more times than I can count for myself or with family members and haven’t had to wait as long as you described.
