I have very little time for competitive people. They are often driven by unhealthy (though culturally acceptable) thinking, and are frequently plagued by insecurities which make them abusive to others.

On the other hand people who are unusually enthusiastic about life and love building things, especially with other people, are some of my very favorite people. They have abundance thinking, and aren’t focused on themselves. You can build lives and communities with people like this. Where as with the former, you can only help them build their own empire.

I disagree - I’m both of these. Generally very gregarious and usually the most enthusiastic person about life in the room but unashamedly VERY competitive at sports and games, I just love competing. Don’t even care if I win, kinda prefer losing to better players than wining too easily if I’m honest, competition is internal ultimately

if you dont care that you win or not, you arent competitive in the way i describe.

you strive for excellence and compete with yourself. this is a good character trait.
