Yep, imagine fighting for what's right, then admitting you were wrong when cornered!!
knowing how governments operate, I wouldn't be surprised if they intimidated him behind closed doors
That doesn't mean you should plead guilty.

If you really want to fight, then stand your ground, no matter what. But ofc was all a setup, an arrangement. In few months people will not hear about them anymore and will be free, somewhere where nobody knows...
Remember the ANOM case...
Knowing the judge is convinced your business was a criminal activity. Would you risk 20years and plead not guilty, or keep a low profile plead guilty and risk 5 years max? You have childs, you want to be there for them, what do you do? Do you trust justice so much to stand your point?
It's not so easy, justice is not to be trusted, it's a hard choice. It's for people like us to support him, this judgment did not get nearly enough support from the crypto community, there should have been 1000s of people chearing for him in this court room
He plead guilty, so all we are saying here it DOESN'T MATTER anymore. Is just dust in the wind.
read between the line, why do you think he pleads guilty? this is what matters. Just because he pleads guilty doesn't mean he should get no support or his case doesn't matter anymore. Many would have plead guilty given the setup for this case
Why would I give support to a guilty person ?
If they would not plead at all, maybe I will consider, but they declare themselves guilty.
Is done.
