Why is it that division is the number one tactic amongst a population by the powers that be to maintain control/manipulation of the public and people are still on that right/left red/blue male/female Christian/Muslim black/white fight. Am I crazy or is it obvious to anyone else?

We can get along and agree on 90%+ of the issues. So, why is there a distraction from the real issues?!

The question is not much for this community, but more so for the old place. Why don't they see it as clearly as we do?!

We know that it's worked since the begining of mankind. But no one knew how to read back then so it was a widely known secret amongst the literate. But the Internet has been around for an eternity at this point. Why does it still work?! Information is largely free. You don't have to be a CEO or president to get this Intel. Kinda frustrating.

People being people, I think. As much as we want to believe we can be united as humans, we don’t think, feel and believe in the same. Some are content being sheep and some are not.

As history recycles itself, our lives are also too short that we can’t see to it that we don’t redo the past after 4-5 generations. But the tides always change inevitably. we are living in a time where we might live through that change that’s unfavorable to us and that’s why it’s frustrating.

Many feel better being the sheep. Just the same as I meet and cross paths with the self reliant folks that are oblivious to the chatter of social media and cable TV programing, I also encounter those that are handling their bizness and household affairs with zero concern for what info is being propagated on those big, smart screens. So I remain optimistic.

But yeah, there will always be sheep. And they have their place. But for those of us that are not sheep why are we still bickering over the crumbs?!

Again, I don't think this applies to this community. But, in the old place, there are smart and capable folks too. So why are they on that hamster wheel fighting a fight that has zero consequences on the end.
