In a great presentation, someone showed me the onboarding of the official Monero GUI. It sucks. The onboarding process for someone who just wants to get to know the look and feel of an app or move around less than an XMR should be rethought and made as simple as possible.

I think Selene wallet created by a BitcoinCasher has good quick newbie onboarding. Thoughtful and very simple. Immediately opens to a QR code with an address first time you open.
A Monero wallet should be created for this or implemented in an existing one
