In the US, the major concern is deportation of illegals, held rather idiotically I might add.

But the danger of cartels is a problem. Why is the US sending over soldiers and military equipment or a place across the globe to fight a war they don't have much reasons in, besides politics?

The people I know who are from below the border who come to the states to work and send money home, a majority would love to go back home for good, but the cartels and corruption make it really hard for them to live or get ahead

The US economy is failing, but the fiat earned in US is being sent to another country for survival purposes.

Would it make more sense for US to send troops to the cartel to rid the system so these peoples homes would be hopefully more peaceful in the long run?

Communities actually able to have a stable economy in their own homeland?

The US partnered with Sinaloa a long time ago. Considering how the US tends to attack entities it has hired (i.e. Saddam Hussein, Osama Bin Laden) maybe the cartels will be on the chopping block eventually?

Good input. We put a good amount of weapons in cartel hands years ago just like in Middle East.
