Just a few moths back 🍏 released a security update. It included a hot fix that limits the use of airdrop. Interestingly, this release coincided with demonstrations in CHN. Since demonstrations were ongoing, the authorities crippled reception and the use of messenger. So protesters used airdrop, as a means of communication, during their protest until 🍏 limited its use.
