Call it an app and put more info what it really is in the description

💯

What's the difference?

Client sounds alien to the normies

Marketing vs. technical documentation.

Yes two different things, especially that it takes a moment to understand basics about nostr 😂

Been calling it this way in my local community for a while now. Obviously giving detailed info in the in-depth resources. I believe this is the way. Scaring off people from the start doesn’t help in onboarding 😄

Yea I think the context makes all the difference. In technical/protocol documentation it makes sense to refer to things the way the protocol refers to them. In user help documentation explaining what it is in clearer and less technical language is better for users. In marketing and App Store descriptions, etc, terms like “client” mean something very different to an average person vs. someone who is technically minded or a developer.

At that point also remove NOSTR

No, because there are other competing decentralized networks/protocols and a Nostr app is not the same as a mastadon app, for example.

Nostrapp link, it already is
