Are you more or less likely to #zap a note based on how many sats it’s already been zapped? In other words, have you ever looked at a note and decided on a smaller zap, or no zap at all, because you felt it had already been zapped “enough”? Im curious if/how this forced UI change in Damus will affect zapping habits.

Hmm , subconscious I feel I Zap posts with 0 Zaps far more then Posts that have already acquired a lot of Zaps.
Amethyst user here. But if the post is a 10/10 and speaks to me, that trumps everything.
Agreed if it’s a 🔥 post then I’m zapping it no matter what. I’d like to think I always zap based only on the value I find in the content, but I also think subconsciously I’ve sometimes adjusted my behavior based on how much a note has already been zapped.
I think I'm more likely to #zap if a note has been zapped a lot. Feels like jumping on the hype train. Ooh! #hypechain

I definitely zap bigger accounts less.
I try to always zap according to my own value scale though, which changes on my mood anyway!

I think for me it probably has factored in at times, at least subconsciously.
I never look at the amount of zaps I just zap people share the sats around hoping people will zap me too we should all zap each other not depending on the their zap amount if you like the content zap it but I just zap people when they say GM that's just me

I try to focus my zaps on smaller accounts to encourage them to engage more here and less elsewhere. Big accounts already collecting a few k sats a post are already full time #nostr users.
Amethyst and forks show zaps received ordered by size on a profile. I like to drop a big zap that puts me at the top of their zap list if possible.
