I think the same thing happened to email too. It all used to be unserious. But now, I get all sorts of official and important communication through email, like about my taxes or doctor appointments. So now all the things that don't seem as important as those just end up getting ignored.

Anyone else feel this way? Just me?

I think this is why so much of the time I'm using my secondary device more often because I get less notifications than my primary phone. Even spam texts get on my nerves. Like I don't want to donate to your fucking campaign and texting me 5 times won't make me anymore likely.
