You shouldn't care what your coworkers get paid. If you do, your setting yourself up for disappointment and holding a grudge against the people you have to work with every day. You should value your time period. You shouldn't value your time relative to those around you.

You just assume I didn't earn the raise or know the dollar value of my contribution to the company that year.

You are definitely coming at this from the perspective of a bad boss who cheats their employees.
