it's not gonna get better, the tech is what it is, and it can only improve when some math geek figures out a new thing that extends it, then it will improve a bit but it's far from being any danger ouf threatening the value of human creativity, and i seriously doubt it's even possible to replicate that without millions of years evolved biology

it's purely the fantasy of misanthropic ruling class pigs that they suddenly have the edge over us

I hope you are right.

Perhaps a bigger fear is by flooding the market with this content it threatens the average persons ability to appreciate or seek out true human creativity.

idk, i think that it may actually prompt people to learn to recognise it

Either learn or abandon.

Or someone will make an AI-slop blocker like we have adblocker.

yeah, at this point the repetitiveness of the ai generated content is like the old days of websites with stock images that are like about 100 variants on 1000s of sites

the people who have been using AI image generators will be ashamed of their behaviour in a couple of years

I guess this, as other things as well, influenced by rewards. If they dont get the rewards, or the expected outcome they pursue, they will change.

And I assume, people will learn to quickly skip videos, websites if they feel it is ai generated. As you said above.
