I just did a relay cleanup and I'm sticking with only 5 paid relays or so moving forward.

When you clean up your relays did you lose people you follow or followers? When I first joined I thought I needed to add relay after relay 😅 now I don’t wanna lose those I connect with frequently 🙏
Yes, my followers count went from 250 to 33.
I suppose if I add my old relays again then I would "recover" those followers.
I'm still learning. I have no idea how Nostr is going to scale worldwide with how relays work. Normies are not going to make it lol
On my end, clicking your followers still shows 250+
Because you're using more relays than me.

I can't see your profile picture or your lightning info or anything. You probably joined the orangepill dev relay after setting up your bio. Can you make some edit in your bio so that it publishes those changes to orangepill dev?

No, just do a minor change to your bio, change a word or something, and save it. It should publish your bio to the orangepill dev relay.

Too many relays is more problems than upside.
I need to figure out which ones are junk tbh. I want to clear them out but not lose the better ones 😅
It's not so much about relays being "junk".
It's more a question of where do you want to hang out?
You can join a private relay where only you and your friends exist, or a paid relay where only people who paid exist, or a public relay where most people go to.
Or maybe a combination of those. Maybe you only want to read global posts from paid relays but you still want to participate in public relays.
Read about how Nostr works. It's very different from the social media we're used to.
Thanks! Yea I didn’t mean junk so to say. Mainly more spammy type relays. I have joined a few paid relays. It definitely is a lot to learn and appreciate the knowledge 🫡⚡️
Better to do it sooner rather than later. You could end up with followers on all those relays. Could lose them if you prune the list and they are not on another common relay. You’d break the link to them.
Im following a thousand people and I see all their notes with 8 relays. You got 20+ relays added… Ser you following whole Wenus? 😂😂😂
