Bitcoin maximalist. Diversification makes no sense. Just buy bitcoin and stop complicating your life.

CBDCs are a conspiracy theory. They will never happen.

There, I said it.

Quote me on this in 5 years.

There is so much bullish sentiment that I can't help but think we will crash one more time (along with stocks and everything else) before we eventually move up for good.

I predict we will see $18k levels or so one last time.

Check out this ex bitcoin dev.

Imagine not buying bitcoin below $25k

LMAO

How does one request features?

I want to be able to follow someone by clicking the three dots on the top right of the note. This way I don't need to go into the profile for following.

I just compared my Twitter feed with my Nostr feed.

Twitter is still more interesting to scroll.

Nostr is just people begging for zaps and saying GM PV.

I have no idea what this note mean

Wallet of Satoshi = 100% trust

The bare minimum requirement for a bitcoin wallet is that it is open source.

If a complete and total noob needs to use lightning network for payments, I would probably send him/her to Muun Wallet.

My favorite on-chain wallet is Green.

My favorite lightning wallet is Phoenix. It's very easy to use, but you do need to open a channel first by sending some sats to your on-chain address. Probably not ideal for someone starting from zero.

For receiving zaps on Nostr I would use anything that supports NIP-57. I don't care if it's custodial or closed source as long as you know it's ONLY used for receiving zaps.

Wallet of Satoshi is idiot-proof but I would hate for someone to start using it as a savings account. They must be warned that it should only be used for very small amounts.

If you're new to Nostr, paid relays may seem a bit confusing. You just need to do a little bit of up front work.

You need a Bitcoin Lightning wallet. Lightning is a fast, cheap and scalable solution for Bitcoin that makes paying for goods and services extremely easy. Wallet of Satoshi is probably one of the easiest options available. You can also use others too, such as Alby, ZBD or Muun.

You can find a list of all known paid relays at https://relay.exchange. While this website lists plenty of relays and their fees, what it doesn't tell you is their popularity or location. You can ask your followers or the people that you're following which paid relays that they're using or you can view their profile (pending client support) and view the relays that they're using.

Once you know which relays that you're going to try out or use, you'll want to visit their website, pay the admission fee, and add their relay address to your profile. Be sure to enable both read and write capabilities and then save or post the changes. That's it.

These are the paid relays that I'm using and have been using over the past month.

Why are so many people recommending Wallet of Satoshi? It's closed source!

Imagine a beginner that doesn't know this and starts using WOS as his main wallet 🀦🏻

He's annoying, but I still follow him haha

I think it's healthy that there are people like him in the community

LOL @ people not buying bitcoin for the past 8 months.

Last I heard Damus is working on incorporating zaps and it should have that feature soon.

Yes you can zap using Iris.

There's something I don't like about Iris though. User experience isn't my favorite.

I use Snort on desktop and Amethyst on Android. But Amethyst has been super buggy lately.

We are early days in Nostr. More clients will come in the future and the current ones will improve.

It depends on the client you're using.

Iris notifies you when you get new followers. Athemyst doesn't. Snort doesn't. Etc.

Question to anyone reading this:

Have you considered visiting Costa Rica after finding out about Bitcoin Jungle and its circular economy?
