Yes, semantics matter (for now). Data centers might be good optics, but doesn't exactly match the work. The term mining also seems to confuse newcomers.

More and more we aren't mining new BTC, but processing transactions for fees. The name should naturally shift as this trend increases.

Energy storage, security center, protocol security, blockchain processing.

I'll let greater minds than mine land on the name.
