I'm an android user, but damus seems to be very popular for you iOS people. I don't know if you can follow hashtags using it, though.
There's a couple really good nostr for beginners links, but gosh, I can't find which ones I've been to at the moment.

I'm not an iOS user so I can't comment much here. Damus, Primal, Nostur, and Nos.social seem to be the iOS clients that come to mind. Some may only be available on TestFlight.

Their whole team has been pretty inactive for the last few months and every time they show up they say they are working on something big and it’s coming 🤔

My parents are from 🇵🇹 so you already know what that means I am a CR7 follower. That last stunt at Man Utd recently was ruined by Erik ten Hag but he has found form since 40 goals in 2023 leading goal scorer for the year. Man Utd have lost their way hope they start competing for the league again. Nostrball community on here would be cool.

Good approach is checking out some of the tags suggested in the comments to find people with similar interest as yours. Then check who they're following or if they have a custom list and follow those accounts and/or their lists.
Yes this seems to be working so far, there’s no follow limit like Twitter for new accounts right?
