I make my memes from scratch as needed. A blank Margin Call template of this scene wasn’t popular enough so I made one. There is a Margin Call meme with the movie text but that text wouldn’t cut it here. I could go into an insane deep dive and find the blank version or figure out how to have AI fix it but then my clients should likely mock me. I have better things to do.
IOW, there was not an easily accessible blank John Tuld template for that specific moment.
So do I use one close to it? Or do I pick the best John Tuld face to represent the moment, since like half or more of the meme seers won’t have watched the movie?
I made the meme to best represent facial expressions, given no easy template. If anything this one is better. I think it connects more with the average meme-seer, but those that know the movie in-depth will be like, “but that was a later scene”.
