but i would love to interact with the newcomers, it gives me a signal that someone found my profile
I know what you mean, but it’s mostly used for feeding ego, which is why it’s probably been left out.
Primal does tell you in notifications if you are interested in actually keeping up with it.
Damus doesn’t do a lot of things I think it should, and I’m not surprised.
