Tarrifs have prevented me from executing on this mission.
Are you running the Canaan? I’ve been eyeing them for a while but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. What’s the one on the bottom?
They’re both Canaan modes. I’ll let you know how the big one does as a heater. The top one is doing a great job heating a basement the past 10 days.
The ROI between the electricity and the cost to purchase doesn’t “make sense” for a couple of years. I do think they’ll last for several years.

They’re heating the house without the furnace running!
The big one is noisy. The small one puts out a nice amount of heat, is quiet, and you get 40 TH/s. They say 37 in their marketing but it’s always at 40 (it’s been running for 10 days).

That’s awesome to hear! Especially the 40 TH being quiet as that’s the biggest complaint I get from the fam with my other miners. What’s the outside temp where you’re at when they’ve been able to heat the whole house?
It’s really warm. Lows in 40 and high today almost 60. So when it’s high of 40 and low of 20 or less we’ll see how these work.
But the basement was cold when we moved in and the 40 TH did a great job heating the space in just a few hours.
