yeah liquidity is low. I did check them out, but also p2p has a higher rug pull risk imo than just a trade. IDK if Bisq does that

One option is to buy #monero with KYC, move it and swap it for #bitcoin

Swaping coins is a capital gain in most countries

How would they know

The problem is on ramp to buy any coin, I'll need to KYC.

I've already done it, but I've noticed more recently (since I've been actively using nostr) that every one is asking me to kyc or deny service.

Yep, fiat ramps and CEXs will always be a problem. Will probably get worse over time. Only way is to buy/sell things with crypto directly p2p and DEXs. Maybe giftcards as a temporary workaround.

Leaving fiat behind for good and building out circular economies are the only real long term solutions for those problems.

Do you already use Bisq/Haveno/Robosats/Peach?

Yep, that's the future I see. Early bitcoinere are not immune either. If coins cant be attributed to an individual they won't accept. Everyone's first instinct of bitcoin will be banned its garbage it will never take off was correct.

Im assuming the monero is bought from the handful of places that support it via kyc.

Why would you assume that when it's delisted from vast majority of central exchanges? It was just delisted from Binance earlier this year the largest exchange on the planet by far
