One of the only things I don’t like about Signal is that my linked computer loses access randomly every so often, and messages don’t sync over from my phone. Maybe it’s a security thing, but I don’t understand it.

Hmm. I don't have these issues. Mine syncs just fine.

For example, I last opened Signal on my Mac in October. I didn’t open it again until a month later and it told me it was unlinked and that I needed to relink it through my phone. Messages that came through within that month gap don’t appear on desktop. 🤷🏻‍♂️
