Riders build out their own network bottom up. If they don't have a driver available when they put out the batsignal they just keep riding uber and lyft and can add more reliable drivers to their own network later.

I literally posted because it WAS cool. I made a note about trying to build up network effects to help make it succeed.

You're actually correct, lo.l. I conflated 2 diff videos and never watched the one i renoted without realizing. He was literally answering the point I brought up in the video
