What a day OMG! I attended my first ESL mock-test. It was a little hectic. I got the grumpiest man alive as the one to take my speaking test. His emotions (about my answers) were painting on all over his face. Like damn sir! Stay neutral, let me think! 🤦♀️ Anyway, he evaluated my test right away and gave me some suggestions. One that I resonated fully with was that I talk super fast when I answer for the test. I need to be calm, collective and concise. nostr:npub104zp04wlgddf0w84tj8jul3w75e7ydcuuhsull2etste5040xm2qg285rf reminded on my previous post to breathe. Couldn’t be more appropriate a tip for me! I'll get my score tomorrow. He also suggested that I acquire a british accent! I'm totally consciously going to ignore that, thank you very much! I like my accent. And my speaking-buddy from Pakistan says she thinks my accent in SWEET! 😤😤
Anyway, fun started when I got out though. One of my friends who studies in India, came to the country on a sudden note and was in fact in my city at that moment. Whattt! What an absolutely amazing rest of the day it has been until I wished him goodbye on a train to his hometown where he was originally headed to. With him (like my other very close friends) there is nothing to worry about. We just know. We know. And every time we meet we start exactly where we left off.
On what note would I end? Absolutely grateful for this day! #gratefulchain #journal0
