I’m trying to find a simple bathroom scale but almost every single one has built-in wifi, “smart” tracking, cloud sync, WEATHER REPORTS(???), etc. What the actual fuck. Just give me a simple OFFLINE one please.

I'm pretty happy with the Wyze scale. Does have Bluetooth and a decent app, but no Wifi or weather reports. 😆

I think this is going to become the norm for all appliances regardless of whether or not it makes any sense for the user. Reason being there's tons of telemetry data the company can collect if they can convince people to get everything online.
