Entire post/replies are stored on the blockchain with memo right? Always turned me off, not sure every “lol” and emoji has to be included in a block.
BChat uses nostr for posts and blockchain strictly for txs.

Technically every post/reply here is being "stored" on the blockchain too. The data is on Nostr but the spam protection means everything is paired with a blocked transaction.
Using Nostr opens the door for a lot more privacy though
