Ordinals will run out of customers like every other shitcoin. There's no reason to risk compromising #Bitcoin Core to "kick them out".

100% let the free market run them out dry. I moved from Ocean pool as soon as I heard what was happening. Gonna give it a little more time maybe they’ll change and let you pick blocks with all transactions

Interesting thing to think about, any pool that has stratum v2 could have blocks found by participants that censor out ordinals and OFAC blacklist in their template. Will see how everything plays out.

So I should run v1? I just started so apologies for the dumb question

V2 is way cooler

nostr:npub1vnmhd287pvxxk5w9mcycf23av24nscwk0da7rrfaa5wq4l8hsehs90ftlv is just saying that miners having the option to generate their own templates means all miners could set their own censorship/fee structure policies. So even in currently “non-censoring” pools, you could have blocks which include arbitrary censorship.

Ah didn’t catch that. Ya that makes sense

Very true.

I'm not sure they HAVE many customers now.

I think VC funds, plus (some) wash-trading = BRC-20 shitcoin pumps to pay back VCs.

Griftfluencers take a large cut, and keep the plates spinning as long as they can keep delivering gains to their investors.

Very little retail at all.

My two sats. Could be wrong.

Couldn't agree more.

Likewise there’s no reason to approve BIP300 to appease shitcoiners and miners who can’t live within their means.

A miner seriously argued with me for 20 mins IRL we need BIP300 for a higher security budget. Retard take.

Luke is a false prophet.

Give these shitcoiners their market test instead of arming them with an excuse.

Exactly, if people don't find them valuable they will die on their own. If they do find them valuable then thank you for the fees
