The App Store Accountability Act is getting more attention.

The proposed legislation requires "covered app store providers" to verify the ages of any "individual [who] creates an account."

"Covered app store," however, is defined broadly and seemingly encompasses free and open-source repositories such as F-Droid or Obtanium.
