Would you say there’s currently two forms of “weed”?
The first being something like what nostr:npub1f5pre6wl6ad87vr4hr5wppqq30sh58m4p33mthnjreh03qadcajs7gwt3z grows. Natural and without synthetics added to grow, that people have been smoking for millennia.
The second being the legalized , state sanctioned version. These are mono-cropped / mass produced with a bunch of synthetics added to grow.
I’ve had a couple close buddies who have really struggled with excess use of the latter form. Guys who have graduated law school and were previously high achievers.
I also think the latter has had an impact on an aging family member’s cognition decline as they age.
After doing temp work in something like ~20 commercial farms, yes.
I just finished helping harvest on a 100% organic and "no spray"* farm, and thought they didn't exist anymore in my area.
All the other farms use poison, synthetic fertilizers, and even heavy metals on their plants.
* The owner does spray an organic foliar feed once or twice during the vegetative state.
