There are some political things I'd like to say on nostr, but I know everybody is quite enjoying the near absence of such talk, and I don't want to disturb the peace.
So I think I'm going to add content-warning functionality to gossip next. Yeah, I know, I know, there are a lot of other things people asked for. But what is the point of a censorship resistant platform if I'm silencing myself?
Also, multi keys/accounts helps this..
I like seeing discussion beyond bitcoin and zaps and dev talk because it means nostr is growing.
"The medium is the message"
It's important to be attuned to how this medium affects what/how we communicate.
On twitter, you can see how the corporation has crafted the medium to encourage or prevent all sorts of things.
Nostr isn't beholden to corporations, but the medium is still being formed by group consensus. At least we have some input into this formation.
