Like a wasteland compared to this π
Itβs like stacking sats β¦ start small.. getting huger year after year ππ«Άπ»π³
Yea the main thing is we had a baby this year, so the annual garden has been neglected and pretty much all volunteer plants from previous years at this point (with some planted onions and garlic sprinkled in)
On the plus side the trees and perennials are thriving
It took seven years to get to this point, and many more will pass before the trees are fully grown. I spent my first two years just reading about permaculture and making mistakes.
The book had an huge impact on me was , Martin Crawford Create a Forest Garden. Amazing book
Yea I waited and observed our homestead for about 2 years before I started planting anything or doing earthworks.
These peach trees were some of the first planted about 5 years ago, produce lots of fruit now.

Have over 100 other fruit, nuts and berries planted now. Put in a few more each year, slow and steady
