The rose bush (over 50 years old now), and the tomatoes (Purple Cherokee, Black Krim, Florida Everglade, and Black Cherry) are doing well this Spring.
I've got the clay pots that the seedlings grew in, down into the ground next to the roots where the water can flow more immediately. I learned about that hack on an Irish show called "Grow, Cook, Eat".
