i have some ideas about rolling together lossless compression with dictionaries to effectively both save space and automatically generate dictionaries and citations in the event storage... text generally compresses to under 20%, sometimes as low as 10% of the uncompressed output, so there's a lot of good reasons to do it... basically everything in an event can be massively compressed except for the signature, which can be verified by reconstituting the event
