Yeah.. haven’t made a dent in any of this yet. The property has such a different feel. Attempts at mentally processing the situation is a dizzying cycle of relief for all of us being unharmed, fear at the proximity of it all, sadness for the loss of such magnificent trees, a sense of ridiculousness for having such strong feelings about trees and property when loss of life is a reality for the community around us, and then back to relief for being unharmed. Rinse and repeat multiple times daily.

Thank goodness for the jobs at hand to distract and focus a busy mind. nostr:note1ahml94083wv922qtahzjdvrq6jwavpus65fv0x9wt0fws45pkjvs5gztns

Thinking about you πŸ«‚πŸ«‚. The trees were beautiful and were a part of your life as much as anything else, so, no I don't think it's ridiculous to have an emotional attachment to them. They brought joy to your life and now they're gone, you were fortunate and others were not, but you're allowed to be upset.

Good people and genuine kindness are invaluable. You’re good people.

Thank you for the kind words πŸ«‚. I know how valuable mental health is and guilt is a horrible feeling, sometimes you have to be reminded that your problems are important, too πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ.

Blessings bro
