Does any client handle multiple boosts better that this?

Any design decision is subjective. Some people like things one way and others the other way.
No, is suboptimal to see the same note 3 times, and if it's a popular reboosted note it comes over and over in the feed. Of course that can be ones preference as it's all taste, but for optimal usage of screen real-estate showing the same note multiple times is a waste.
