Thank black people
Nope. Not black people.. it's the transients that the state we live in enables the behavior of. Unfortunately where Kat is it is likely these items that are stolen the most - they also have the tightest overhead margins on (i.e. they make very little per unit of the sale).
nostr:npub1xwrmpld03fzvj9327lyptsxr05f6nm3euyn0x56l8c5fruehqvdqcech3r - sorry you are having to put up that crap. Welcome home! 🫤
You seen kids when they sniff or smoke toothpaste?! That shit is totally crazy…
what was funny to me is that regular laundry detergent was locked up, but not tide pods. guess the tide pod eating days are long gone, only a distant memory.
Isn’t this to prevent theft?
yes but it’s almost random what stuff is locked up.
like laundry detergent is not easy to steal
plus, target has a cross store tracking system of shoplifters so they can catch you once you get to like 500 dollars so they can give you a higher charge.
So they prefer that you steal more expensive stuff to catch you. Maybe the smaller things like toothpaste they can’t really stop people from stealing? There has to be a good reason haha
