Google's PageRank algorithm, which Larry Page co-developed, relied on analyzing a massive number of links pointing to a webpage to determine its importance and relevance. So like forget outliers. I reckon their algorithm still does that now but different. And X, I think does it too. I’m not a coder, nor X user, so not sure how.
