If you are chocked by these prices, you definitely never service a car VW group in their official dealer garage.
VW cars are overpriced compared to the quality IMO. Especially their "premium" cars of which I've heard horror stories that rival HP Lovecraft tales.
Best cars for reliability and what you get for the price are probably Honda, Toyota, Hyundai.
