#asknostr 100sats to the first one to spot why the red roller sleeve is better designed for #painting walls than the rest.

It's called the Red Feather part of the custom #Wooster Sherlock rolling system. It is suede-flock so holds loads of paint and lays it off very smooth. 4.5" long...not particularly unique, but it has something else really useful about it.

The red roller’s rounded end lets you roll into corners and edges smoothly without needing to cut in with a brush first

No edge lines: The rounded edges help prevent harsh lines or ridges when rolling near edges or overlapping passes.

Smoother finish: It creates a more even, blended paint layer without having to go back over for touch-ups.

Less spatter and drag: The beveled profile rolls more fluidly, reducing resistance and splatter at the ends.

The end caps are missing so it keeps that line and paint build up from happening as the paint pushes out to the edges.
