#asknostr 100sats to the first one to spot why the red roller sleeve is better designed for #painting walls than the rest.

It's called the Red Feather part of the custom #Wooster Sherlock rolling system. It is suede-flock so holds loads of paint and lays it off very smooth. 4.5" long...not particularly unique, but it has something else really useful about it.

Is it because it's less squishy, or "has less distance to compress", making it throw less splatter, which allows one to paint faster?

Thanks for trying. You are correct that It is low splatter, but so are a couple of the other sleeves. There is another design element that firmly separates It from the rest.
