Idk what persistence means here. I installed the Ubuntu iso on the USB drive using etcher. Installed Ubuntu on the computer but then it said I needed to format the USB in order to use it. I tried to format it and it just says it is write protected.

Yeah you have to format the usb now in order to use it.

Of course you can format the usb on Windows unless you’re not able to

It won’t let me. It says its write protected. Idk what that means.

I think it needs a low level format tool for windows.

I tried doing it through Linux but it didn’t work. It’s to frustrating.
