My wife was listening to “top hits” playlist on YouTube of all places and it sounded strange to me. Turns out it’s all ai generated remakes of popular songs and they all sound like crap.

Not saying I agree - but they tend to make new recordings of old hits that require only paying a smaller portion of the licensing fees, while still getting all the plays. It’s a particular type of hell. 🦫
