Where I live in north eastern USA, it costs $100 for a one way flight to El Salvador. Honestly if I had nothing and was in your position I’d start a new life and fly down there and find work and live a modest life.
if one doesn't speak good Spanish, I'm not sure being in El Salvador is a good long term plan for someone mentally in a major depressive condition. it's way better than actually ending your life.
There are English speaking el Salvadorans and people can learn new languages and adapt to new cultures. I personally believe starting over would be the best thing for me in a situation where I was homeless. I really feel for OP here and hope something good goes his way
